American Voices Workshops and Readings

Throughout the season, the Artistic Development department facilitates workshops and readings of plays in our commissioning or production pipeline. Many of these workshops are private or for invited audiences per our agreements with the unions and the artists. Our general audiences benefit from the work achieved in these workshops and readings in subsequent seasons. The American Voices workshops and readings are a critical component Arena Stage’s behind-the-scenes research and development process.
