Camp Arena Stage COVID-19 Policy
Current as of May 8, 2023 but subject to change
Complete Policy
We follow the COVID-19 policies set forth by Georgetown Visitation, which are detailed here: https://www.visi.org/quicklinks/covid-19info
Vaccination
- Per our contract with Georgetown Visitation, staff, campers and volunteers must provide proof of receiving their complete primary vaccination series against COVID-19 before camp starts via DocuSign.
Masks
- Masks are optional.
- However, please note that campers who end isolation early or have been exposed to COVID-19 should wear a mask in accordance with the CDC’s end of isolation and exposure guidelines.
Notifications
If your child or a member of your household tests positive for COVID-19 during the camp session, please email camp@arenastage.org.
If your child is exposed to COVID-19 at camp, we will contact you, and we will follow the policy set forth by Georgetown Visitation.
Stay Home If You Are Sick
Anyone who feels unwell or has symptoms of a communicable disease should not come to camp.
If a staff member or camper has a chronic, pre-existing condition that presents with specific COVID-19-like symptoms, contact the camp leadership at camp@arenastage.org prior to camp to arrange documentation.
If Symptoms Emerge at Camp
- Anyone feeling unwell at camp and/or with COVID-19 symptoms will be sent home immediately.
- Any household members at camp will also be sent home.
- Campers will wait in a comfortable isolation space until their parent/guardian arrives.
Exemptions
Campers who receive a reasonable accommodation exemption from Arena Stage for medical reasons or a sincerely held religious belief must provide proof of a negative antigen test on each Monday and Wednesday morning of the camp session.
